Harriette Cole is president and creative director of Harriette Cole Media, Inc. As a life stylist, she has worked for more than 20 years supporting entertainers, entrepreneurs, corporate executives and high-potential managers to align themselves effectively with their brand promise. Clients include BET Networks, Universal Records, Warner Music, Sony Music, ZenithOptimedia, Moxie, Digitas, Cornell University, Thurgood Marshall Academy, National Urban League, and more.For three years she has executive-produced and hosted the web series The Root Live: Bring it to the Table, a weekly talk show about lifestyle, business and money presented by Prudential. She is the author of seven books about how to live an honorable life, including Jumping the Broom: The African American Wedding Planner, How to Be, Choosing Truth and 108 stitches: words we live by. For the past 15 years, she has written the daily nationally syndicated advice column, Sense & Sensitivity. Cole formerly was the Fashion Director of ESSENCE, founding Editorial Director of UPTOWN and Creative Director and Editor-in-Chief of Ebony. In 2016 Cole launched DREAMLEAPERS, a multi-pronged educational initiative designed to help people access and activate their dreams. Cole is a contributor to The Today Show. She has appeared as an expert on many programs, including Oprah to BET, Inside Edition and the Biography channel.
